Full Clear — Privacy Policy

What stays on your device

All of it. Your streak history, logged urges and their triggers, relapse entries and debriefs, journal text, quiz answers and the resulting report, your progress through the 30-day program and anything you write in its reflections, your daily pledges and mood check-ins, your badges, your chosen clean definition, your accountability partner's name and number if you add one, and your settings are written to a local SQLite database on your phone. We have no copy and no way to obtain one. Every insight — risk windows, trigger analysis, resistance rate, the daily plan, the mood comparison — is computed on the device from that local data.

Deleting the app deletes this data. (It may be included in your phone's own device backups, which follow your Apple or Google backup settings — those backups go to your account, not to us.)

No accounts, no analytics SDKs, no ads

There is no sign-up, no email address, and no user profile anywhere but your phone. The app contains no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics SDK — nothing is instrumented to report your behaviour back to us or to anyone else.

Camera

The panic button includes an optional step that shows you your own face using the front camera during an urge. The preview is live only: nothing is captured, recorded, saved, or uploaded, and no image ever leaves the camera pipeline. The step works fine if you decline the camera permission, and you can skip it entirely.

App lock: Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint or passcode

If you turn on the app lock, authentication is performed by your operating system. The app receives only a success or failure result. We never see, store, or transmit your biometrics, passcode or PIN.

Accountability partner

You can add one trusted person — a name and, optionally, a phone number. Both stay on your device. When you choose to message them (from the panic button or the weekly check-in), the app opens your own messaging app or share sheet with a prewritten message that you can edit, send or discard. The app itself sends nothing, and nothing passes through us. The weekly check-in carries counts only — your current run, urges ridden out, lessons done — never your triggers, notes or journal.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, reminders are scheduled locally on your device: one ahead of your risk window (the hour you chose, or with Pro the one computed from your own logs), an evening check-in, a weekly summary of your own numbers, milestone notes, and — if you start a free trial — one reminder before it converts. There is no push-notification server and no message is sent from us. No notification names what the app is for.

Subscriptions

Full Clear offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play — we never see your payment details. Purchase receipts are validated by RevenueCat, which processes a pseudonymous app-generated identifier and your purchase history for that app in order to deliver what you bought, restore it on a new device, and prevent fraud. That identifier is not linked to any account and carries none of the content described above. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy, Apple's, and Google's.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. The app reads whether your subscription is in a free trial, and when that trial ends, from the same purchase record — only so it can remind you before you are charged.

This website

Everything above is about the app. This website, clear.chinesepowered.com, is separate from it and may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings, and Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services. Nothing you do on this website is linked to the app or to anything you log in it — the app has no way to know you were here.

Children

Full Clear addresses compulsive pornography use and is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone — of any age — because we collect none.

Your choices

• Delete everything: Settings → Delete everything erases it on the spot, or uninstall the app. There is no server copy to request the deletion of, and no account to close.
• Camera: decline the permission, or skip the step. The panic flow works without it.
• Notifications: turn timed reminders off in Settings, or revoke the permission in your OS settings.
• App lock: "Require Face ID / passcode" in Settings on iPhone, "Require fingerprint / PIN" on Android.
• Accountability partner: edit or remove them in Settings at any time.

One deliberate exception worth stating plainly: the lapse log is append-only. Marking an entry as logged by mistake records a correction rather than erasing the original, so that a streak cannot be quietly rewritten. This is all local data on your own device, and it goes with everything else when you delete your data or the app.

Full Clear is a self-tracking and habit tool. It does not provide diagnosis or treatment, and the assessment it offers is a profile, not a clinical instrument.

Changes

If a future version changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the date above revised.
